We started because we
believed food should
taste like someone cared.
Marietta Harvest grew out of a simple frustration: the food most families buy looks fine on the outside but carries none of the flavor, nutrition, or meaning it should. We decided to do something about it.
A kitchen table idea
that became a community.
It started, like most honest things do, with a problem at home. We were trying to feed our family real food β bread without a 30-ingredient label, eggs from hens that saw sunlight, honey that tasted like something. The trouble was finding it without driving to four different farms on a Saturday morning.
So we started asking around Marietta. And what we found surprised us: there were beekeepers in Kennesaw harvesting raw honey nobody was buying. Farmers in Powder Springs with more pasture-raised eggs than they could sell. Home herbalists in East Cobb who'd spent years perfecting elderberry syrups just for their own families.
"The food was already here. The farmers were already here. Someone just needed to connect them to the people who wanted them."
Marietta Harvest became that connection. We're not a store in the traditional sense β we're a curated bridge between the people growing and making food the right way in Cobb County, and the families who want to eat it. Every product we carry has a face, a farm, and a story behind it.

The principles behind every decision
These aren't marketing words. They're the actual filters we use when deciding what to carry and who to work with.
Hyper-local, always
If it can't be sourced within Cobb County or the immediate surrounding area, we don't carry it. Local is a hard rule, not a marketing word.
Ingredients you recognize
Every product we sell could have its label read aloud at a dinner table without anyone asking what anything means. No fillers, no numbers instead of names.
Small batch means something
We deliberately work with producers who can't scale infinitely β because that limitation is what keeps quality high. We'd rather run out than compromise.
Fair to our farmers
We pay fair prices to the people who grow and make what we sell. Our products cost a little more than the grocery equivalent β and they're worth it for everyone.
Good for the pollinators
We only work with beekeepers who practice chemical-free, sustainable hive management. Healthy bees mean a healthy local ecosystem for everyone.
Honest, always
If something is out of stock, we'll tell you. If a batch wasn't up to standard, we won't ship it. If we made a mistake, we'll own it. We'd rather lose a sale than lose your trust.
